Jane is an optimist and believes that organisations have the potential to make a real difference to the people they work with – and the planet they work on. She is committed to working with leaders to create environments where work is meaningful, developmental and sustainable. She believes that any change starts with awareness of where we are – and how it serves us – and from that place new possibilities can emerge. Bringing her deeply commercial orientation, and concern for what each client is challenged by, Jane works to help leaders grow as they tackle their real-world problems. As a coach and facilitator, Jane draws on a range of disciplines to help leaders increase their self-awareness; ‘see more’ of the system around them; and find new ways of leading.
Jane’s whole career has been focussed on creating workplaces that have positive impact on their people. In her most recent role, as an executive at one of Australia’s most established and highly regarded law firms, Jane worked with leaders to deliver transformational outcomes in performance, diversity, culture and employee experience while personally living the leadership challenge of balancing individual, team and organisational needs. Jane’s recent transition out of executive life means she brings a deep and personal understanding of the difficulties leaders are facing in responding to increasing expectations from stakeholders, their teams and the community.
Jane’s academic background includes a Bachelor of Secondary Education, Masters level study of HR, organisational behaviour and change. She is currently completing studies in Gestalt psychotherapy and her Growth Edge Certification. Jane is a Leadership Circle® Certified Practitioner and an Immunity to Change facilitator
Outside work and study, Jane enjoys time with her husband and son, walking the dog, and enjoying good food with family and friends. Jane calls Sydney home. She lives and works on land of the Cameraygal people where she enjoys the gifts of rivers, bush and her favorite harbour beach.
