John’s passion is Life-Sustaining Leadership. He supports senior leaders and their teams navigate an increasingly complex world.
With clients from a diverse range of sectors and industries, John brings more than 35 years’ experience to his work, including 20 years as founder of a legal services firm. John helps leaders tap into heart, body, mind and spirit to grow themselves, their teams and their organisations in sustainable ways.
John is the author of “Choose Your Stories, Change Your Life” which details the developmental change process he has evolved over the past 20 years drawing on the latest research in psychology, neuroscience and adult development. He has also presented at TEDx on the topic of Whose stories are we living?
Some interesting projects John has worked on include training action learning coaches in South Africa to work on community problems, assisting Senior Bombay High Court Advocates develop their conflict resolution skills in Mumbai, and working in Dubai with future leaders from around the world.
John trains action learning coaches and holds accreditations in a range of developmental instruments including the Intercultural Development Inventory, the Leadership Circle 360 and Culture Assessments and the Vertical Minset Indicator.
When he is not working internationally, John lives with his partner Anne in Canberra, the capital of Australia. With four children and five grandchildren he is passionate about family, lifelong learning and creating a better world for future generations.
